This is a beginner and advanced Kiiko Matsumoto seminar designed as Grand Rounds. This seminar presents the theory, treatment strategies and clinical techniques used to treat gynecological patterns in Kiiko Matsumoto Style Acupuncture. The use of Grand Rounds format will enhance the clinical reasoning skills of attendees. Palpation, pulse and medical history will be taken into account to assess the patient’s constitution and identify treatment strategies in real time. Gynecological & Hormonal conditions such as menstrual irregularities, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, endocrine disorders and others will be covered based on patient presentation.  , Reflexes including the Tan Tian, kidney, adrenals, liver, spleen, uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, pituitary, Ren Mai and others will automatically be covered due to their fundamental roll in hormonal pathological presentation. 

Additionally, the seminar will demonstrate:

1. Proper identification and palpation of related reflexes.
2. View  specific needling techniques used in Kiiko Matsumoto Style acupuncture to maximize the efficacy of a treatment.
3. See how combining the patient’s medical history with information gathered from palpation to treat the root cause of their symptoms and therefore achieve longer lasting clinical results.
4. Observe the timing, safe  & effective use of Moxa and press tack needles to improve overall outcome of treatment.

Seminar presenter Monika Kobylecka, LAc is currently one of the principle teachers of KMS acupuncture in the United States and is the co-author of Kiiko Matsumoto’s textbook. Monika works closely by Kiiko’s side. Monika also treats pediatric pain patients at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Her clear hands-on seminars & grand rounds are essential for all practitioners wishing to learn KMS acupuncture.
